Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. April was last seen in the vicinity of the 30000 block of Caspian Way in Newberry Springs, California. She indicated she was going to travel to Arkansas to see her mother but never arrived. She has never been heard from again. In late 2005, police found some of Pitzer's belongings in mining areas in the Mojave Desert, about 30 miles from Newberry Springs. Her suitcase and clothes were scattered over a three-mile area, and some items were found in a mining shack in in a mine shaft. Foul play is suspected and her case remains unsolved. |
