Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. Ashley is an endangered runaway. Ashley's photo is shown age-progressed to 18 years. She was last seen at 12:00 p.m. on July 6, 2004 when she and her younger brother were dropped off at the Krug Pool in the vicinity of St. Jospeh Avenue and Krug Park in Saint Joseph, Missouri. All of her personal belongings were left behind. Subsequent investigation showed that Martinez had planned to run away to California with 32-year-old Christopher Hart - a convicted felon - who was later arrested on unrelated charges. Investigators found no sign of Martinez or the car they were rumored to be in - a gray 1995 Pontiac Bonneville with Missouri license plates 377MPYa - upon the man's arrest. Ashley may still be in the local area, or she may have traveled to Nebraska, California or Washington. Her case remains unsolved. |
