Unknown. Beth was last seen on Sunday, May 23, 2010 in Centralia, Illinois. She had spent the weekend there with a friend, who was supposed to drive her home. For unclear reasons, it is thought that Beth decided to take a train home a day early. Her friend dropped her off at the Amtrak Train Station for a 6:00 pm train. She has never been heard from again, and neither Amtrak nor passengers that were interviewed could place Beth on the train. Beth was carrying her pink and orange Vera Bradley bag (photo above right) and a big white purse. The search is concentrating on her last
known whereabouts in Mt. Vernon and Centralia. Beth was driven to the station by her friend in a 2009 White
Nissan Ultima. She may have walked around the area a bit. Her case remains unsolved and the circumstances of her disappearance are unclear. |
