Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. Christie's photos above are shown age progressed to 35 years and 40 years, respectively. She was abducted while walking the few blocks between her foster home on Peach Street and Jackson Elementary School on December 14, 1978. Earlier that morning, she had testified before a grand jury that her father had physically abused her. Her mother died in a motorcycle accident a year before Farni was abducted, and Christie's half-brother, who may have been able to provide police information on the case, killed himself. Her father died in a car accident in 1994. Farni is missing under suspicious circumstances and her case remains unsolved.
