Identifying Characteristics:

He may wear a goatee and/or mustache. He has a scar on the lower right side of his torso; his right thumb is heavily scarred; and the index, middle, and ring fingers of his right hand are heavily scarred from being severed and reattached. He has a 4" to 6" scar on his shin. His left nipple and both ears are pierced. Tattoos include a tribal tattoo on his upper right arm; a tribal tattoo on his upper left arm with words Rayce + Dy; and a wizard tattoo on the left side of his back.  He has a previously fractured vertebrae in his neck, previously fractured and deformed index, middle, and ring fingers on his right hand, a previously fractured and deformed right thumb, bone lumps near each eyebrow, and a bone lump on rear of his head.  He has bunions and spurs on both big toes, calluses and spurs on both heels.

Clothing/Jewelry:

A black cotton Monster t-shirt with the sleeves cut off, Nike basketball shorts, Sketchers gym shoes, and a silver wedding-type band.

Circumstances:

Derrick went missing in the Newberry area in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  At the time of his disappearance, he was living in a residence along North Manistique Lake Road, south of the village of McMillan and just west of East Lake.  He was last seen walking into the bush across from a neighbor's house. He has not been seen since and is considered missing under suspicious circumstances.
