Circumstances:

Karen was last seen on May 26, 1977. Authorities believe she left with Rodney Lynn Grissom, who disappeared two days before she did. They reportedly had planned to hitchhike to California. Later, items relating to them were found off a logging road in Washington County, Oregon. Foul play is suspected.
