Wears glasses with dark brown frames.  Faint horizontal scar above right eyebrow on forehead.
Clothing/Jewelry:
Blue jeans, canvas style hiking shoes, brown "Carhartt" hooded jacket, baseball style cap.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. Mortier was last seen on the Madison Area Technical College campus by a professor and a friend on November 8, 2004. After some missed engagements, friends found his house at 5078 Lacy Road empty, but with the stereo on and some outside doors open. Mortier's dog, Gnosis, was also missing. Both of his cars were in the driveway, and his backpack was in one of them. A girlfriend of one of Mortier's friends found Mortier's dog and took it home, but didn't know whose it was until she contacted the Humane Society. Mortier's whereabouts remain unknown and his case remains unsolved.
