Unknown. Michelle was last seen by her Mother at 7:30 a.m. on December 19 at her home. She was a student at Knox Junior High School in Spring, Texas, and did not attend classes that day. She has never been heard from again. A search of her home showed that her orange tabby cat, Froggy, was missing, along with some clothing, a green sleeping bag, and a handmade patchwork quilt. Several of her friends told police that they were not sure if she ever actually arrived at school the day she disappeared. Michelle did not have a history of running away, but apparently told a friend she intended to travel to the Conroe, Texas area in December 1997. Foul play is suspected, and her case remains unsolved.
