Unknown. John was last seen in the vicinity of the 400 block of Guy Park Avenue in Amsterdam, New York. Recently separated from his wife, he talked to his daughter in California on the night of his disappearance and told her he would leave the next morning to visit her. When his daughter did not hear from him for a month, she thought he was traveling, fishing, and vacationing across the country. He never arrived, and has never been seen again.
