Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown.  Scrima left Erie, Pennsylvania on morning of March 19, 1980 in her 1977 light blue Lincoln Continental, en route to her house in Knox, New York. She was never seen again. A few weeks later, her vehicle was seen in the Montgomery County, New York area. No evidence was found in the car regarding her disappearance. Foul play is suspected, and her case remains unsolved.
