Circumstances:

At approximately 12:40 a.m. on December 6, 2008, Steven was last seen leaving his residence near the 200 block of South 4th Street. He walked to the downtown/river area in Lafayette. He has had no contact with friends, family, or his employer. In 2010, Smith's roommate Wesley Kelly pled guilty to Smith's murder, but Steven's body had not been recovered.
