She had blonde highlights in her hair at the time of her disappearance. She has a half-inch scar on her chin, and pierced ears.
Clothing/Jewelry:
Gray shorts, a white tank top, and gray sneakers. She may have been carrying a black backpack.
Medical:
She suffers from ADHD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder).
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Alissa was last seen at her school in the area of 34th Street and East Bell Road in Phoenix, Arizona, on the last day of her junior year at Paradise Valley High School. She was taken out of school early by her stepfather, who says he left her home alone around 1:00 p.m. He claims that he returned around 5:00 p.m. and found a note from Alissa saying that she had run away to California. No one has seen or heard from Alissa since her disappearance. The stepfather was sentenced to 10 years in Federal prison in 2010 for possessing bombs. Alissa's whereabouts remain unknown and her case remains unsolved.
