Identifying Characteristics:
His hair was braided and pulled back into a ponytail at the time he disappeared. He has a small scar under his chin.
Clothing/Jewelry:
A blue and white shirt, light blue pants and white L.A. Gear sneakers.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. His photo is shown age-progressed to 23 years. Shane was last seen at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Towers playground at 114th Street and Lenox Avenue in the Harlem area of New York City. He was accompanied by his mother, who allowed him to play with two other children while she sat on a bench. A man approached her and began a conversation with her, and when she turned around, Shane was gone. He has never been heard from again. His case is remarkably similar to Christopher Milton Dansby's disappearance. Shane has never been seen again, and his case remains unsolved.
