Identifying Characteristics:
Jacob has moles on his left cheek near his nose, near his right eye and on his neck and a scar on his left knee. His right wrist was previously fractured. He wears contact lenses for nearsightedness, which are possibly tinted blue.
Clothing/Jewelry:
A red St. Cloud Hockey jacket with a large St. Cloud Police Department emblem embroidered on the back, and orange reflective jogging vest, a red t-shirt, a blue mesh jersey, blue sweatpants, white socks, and white high-top Nike sneakers with a gray strip.
Circumstances of Disappearance:

He was last seen at approximately 9:00 p.m. He was with his brother and another friend when they were threatened at gunpoint by an unknown individual. The individual let the brother and friend go and grabbed Wetterling and took him towards a wooded area. He has not been seen since. The boys described the abductor as being approximately 40-50 years old and 5'8". He had broad shoulders and spoke in a low, raspy voice. Two sketches of the abductor are at right. Jacob's family maintains the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, an organization dedicated to Jacob's case and other missing children's cases.
