Circumstances: |
Unknown. In the early hours of January 10, 1993 Markey and her boyfriend, whom she had dated for a month, were confronted by Markey's on/off longtime girlfriend at a local Oneida bar near Phelps Street. Christine's landlord told police that the next day she saw Christine enter her apartment in Oneida with the girlfriend. That was the last time that Markey was seen. Her disappearance has been ruled suspicious because she left behind all of her belongings in her apartment and her paycheck at work. Her case remains unsolved. |
