Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. Her photo above is age-progressed to 53 years. Cynthia L. Day was reported missing by family members on August 13, 1990 in East St. Louis, Illinois. Family members advised Day had not been seen in a couple of days and was last known to be staying at the Mounds Motel in Fairmont City, Illinois, with a male acquaintance. She was last seen by her daughters at the Motel. She has never been heard from again. Her boyfriend of seven years disappeared at the same time she did. All of their possessions were missing from their home. The boyfriend was discovered over a decade later, incarcerated in a California prison for an unrelated crime. The first missing persons report on Day was made on August 12, 1990, but the police department files do not show a report so another one was filed in March 2004. Her case remains unsolved. |
