Circumstances of Disappearance: |
She was last seen during the evening hours of July 1, 1995 at the Girdwood Forest Fair in Girdwood, Alaska. She was on a date when, at 6:00 p.m., her date discovered he’d left his car lights on and the vehicle would not start. He became separated from Gilbert while he looked for help. Her date, who had met her just the week before, searched for her until 1:0 a.m. the following day before reporting her disappearance to police. She has never been heard from again. Her date is not considered a suspect in her disappearance, which remains unsolved. |
