Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. Jackie’s family discovered she was missing as they prepared for an outing in Shawnee County, Kansas on September 12, 1981. She was last seen walking away from a Topeka, Kansas park at 4:00 p.m. She apparently was being followed by a man at the time. Authorities didn’t begin searching for Jackie until four hours after her disappearance was reported. Foul play is suspected, and her case remains unsolved. |
