Jade's photo is shown age-progressed to 5 years. As a small child Jade was in the protective custody of Santa Clara County and placed with a loving foster family. After getting to know and love Jade, the decision was made to make it permanent. Before the adoption was finalized Jade was allegedly abducted by her biological father, Heiby Pena Flores (pictured at right). It is believed Heiby fled and hid with Jade in Mexico. A felony warrant was issued for Heiby Flores on August 5, 2008. Jade's welfare is of great concern. |
