Identifying Characteristics:
A carving by John Warren Smith, Jr.John usually wears jeans and short sleeve t-shirts. He has a tattoo of a Sun on his left upper arm and possible one other tattoo located elsewhere. John is very artistic and was known for his drawings, special woodwork, and beautiful carvings (photo of a carving at right). He may have been depressed and possibly suicidal at the time he went missing.
Clothing/Jewelry:
Green-brown pullover shirts, white T-shirt, blue jeans, athletic shoes.  Gold chain necklace with matching gold bracelet, watch, ring on left hand.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. Smith's vehicle was found abandoned in a mountain region in Santa Cruz, California located on Highway 9 at mile marker 26.86. All his personal belongings were inside, and there was no sign of Smith. His whereabouts are unknown and his case remains unsolved.
