Identifying Characteristics:
Horizontal scar under left eye, tattoo of a mushroom on right calf, tattoo of the name "Smokey Joe" on left forearm, tattoo of a cross between thumb and forefinger on right hand, tattoo of the letters "LOVE HATE" across knuckles on both hands, scar on left side of forehead, pierced left ear, missing teeth.
Clothing/Jewelry:
Small gold hoop earring.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. Joseph last contacted family on January 6, 2004 at approximately 5:00 p.m. in Lufkin, Texas. His brown and tan 1987 Ford F-150 extended cab was later located southeast of Angelina County on Parker Point Road near Zavalla, Texas. There was no sign of Joseph. His whereabouts are unknown and his case remains unsolved.
