Scar above right eye, three-inch scars on both forearms, a five-inch scar on his right thigh, a one-inch scar on his left hand and a one-ince scar on his left knee. He has numerous broken bones from car accidents, including a broken jaw and fractured ribs. He has several fillings in his teeth and wears a partial plate for two upper jaw teeth on opposite sides of his mouth. |
Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. He was last seen by his brother in Hartford, Kentucky on October 23, 1960. Lyndal may have been en route to California; he had served in the Marines in that state. He has never been heard from again. In 1982, his family got a phone message that Ashby had died in Alaska in late 1981 or early 1982, but this story has not been verified.
