Identifying Characteristics:
Pierced ears, left side of nose pierced, 1" scar on left thigh, no permanent teeth (all baby teeth are present), appendectomy scar.
Clothing/Jewelry:
White T-shirt, blue jeans, beige jacket.
Circumstances of Disappearance:
Unknown. Melissa was last seen between 11:45 p.m. and 1:45 a.m. at party at an apartment complex in the vicinity of the 1700 block of Grand Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. It is believed she left through the alley door on the north side of the building. Her loved ones have stated she would not have abandoned her three children. No one has seen Hasley since the night of the party. Hasley's sister, Georgina Kimble, 37, was stabbed to death in a basement apartment at Des Moines' Capitol Heights Apartments the first weekend in August, 2006. She had been investigating her sister's disappearance. Melissa's case remains unsolved.
