Unknown. Mowrey was reported missing by her family. Mowrey was last seen at her residence, an assisted living facility located in the 20000 block of Camino Los Padres in Laguna Niguel, California on January 12, 2009. The only items missing from her residence are her wheelchair and keys. Police stated there were "inconsistencies" in Mowrey's checking account during the week before she went missing. Authorities believe there is foul play surrounding her disappearance. Mowrey does not suffer from Alzheimer's Disease, dementia, or any other medical condition that would cause her to wander away. Her case remains unsolved. |
