Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. On Sunday, May 28, 2006, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Shelva Rafte left her daughter's graduation party in Nicholson Borough, Wyoming County accompanied by her boyfriend. According to her boyfriend, the couple traveled to his residence located on Market Street, Jenkins Township, Luzerne County. Following an argument in the early morning hours of Monday, May 29, 2006, Shelva left her boyfriend's residence to walk home. Shelva was last seen in the area of Market and River Streets, Jenkins Township. Investigators feel there may be suspicious circumstances. She is known to frequent the areas of Jenkins Township, Luzerne County; Nicholson Borough, Wyoming County; and the City of Harrisburg, Dauphin County. Her whereabouts are unknown and her case remains unsolved. |
