Circumstances of Disappearance: |
Unknown. Wilma walked away from a family member's residence between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in Vacaville, California on March 8, 2000. She apparently decided to take a walk. She may have been carrying $30 at the time. She never returned and has not been heard from again. Search dogs traced her scent to the Beacon gas station on near Leisure Town Road, near the Highway 80 on-ramp. Joiner had only lived in Vacaville for a few days prior to her disappearance and was not familiar with the area. Her case remains unsolved. |
