Gina was last seen around 1:00 a.m. leaving Duggan's Pub in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 17, 2000. She is a musician and had participated in the Open Mic. She told friends she planned to pick up her boyfriend and then go home to be with her three children for the night. She left the pub carrying her guitar and her music. She never arrived at her boyfriend's home and has never been heard from again. The next morning, her car was located across the street from the pub with the trunk ajar and her guitar inside. Foul play is suspected.
NOTE: Bos's sister, musician Jannel Rap, founded the GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation (Greater Information Now Available), of which this web site is a part, in Gina's honor and to make more resources available to the families of the missing. The GINA FOUNDation also conducts the annual Squeaky Wheel® Tour , an international tour made up of musicians who profile missing persons during their shows to cast a spotlight on those who would not normally receive attention for their cases.
