Nicholas and his purported siblings (NOTE: NE State Patrol website lists two unverifiable missing children, Elvira Tanase, age 12; and Benjamin Tanase, age 14, as missing on the same date) were temporary placed by Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Nicholas was placed in Lincoln, Nebraska. On November 24, 2023, Nicolas was picked up by an associate and has never been located. They were last believed to be in Sacramento County, California, in December 2023. The identities of all involved persons are unconfirmed.
